The Music Icon Embraces a Twisted Persona of Herself in Fictional Documentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a significant big screen appearance in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, Charli embodies what she calls as a hell version of her public image.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the star stated.
She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration stemmed from the expectation to make one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The first teaser, released on this week, mixes authentic footage from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.
The film is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who explained that the plot revolves around a scenario where Charli took completely different paths throughout the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Hectic Film Calendar
This project is a single one of many forthcoming movie projects for Charli, who already appeared in three independent movies this year.

She also signed on to feature in the star’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement
Next February will also include the release of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include new music from the artist.
She will also create the soundtrack for the story Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release next year.
The mockumentary is set to premiere on the 30th of January.
